This is the second legacy labyrinth project that we have had the privilege of being involved with.  

 

The crossing B&B shares a fence row with The Grasslands national park.  

 

We were asked to lead a group of wonderful, hard-working volunteers to create a grass labyrinth linking the Retreat to the park.  We have seen many grass labyrinths that no longer reach the center because they were not maintained accurately.  

 

Our solution was to gap the large boulders so that there would be a mostly grass labyrinth.  The boulders gathered from local farmers' fields for over 100 years will continue to define the paths and make it easier to maintain the labyrinth well into the future.
